Alan Caren
PartnerAlan Caren is the Founder and Principal of ACA, an owner’s representation and development management firm based in Miami, Florida. As an Owner’s Representative, Alan serves as his clients’ trusted advisor, protecting their interests and leading complex residential developments from concept through completion.
With more than two decades of experience, Alan has represented clients on some of the most significant private residential developments in the United States, overseeing projects with construction budgets ranging from approximately $10 million to well over $100 million. His work spans Miami, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Malibu, New York City, Aspen and St. Tropez in France.
Known for his tenacity, decisive leadership and uncompromising approach to protecting his clients’ interests, Alan works alongside internationally recognised architects, designers and consultants to deliver exceptional outcomes on some of the country’s most complex private residences.
ACA’s work is almost entirely referral-based, reflecting the level of trust the firm has earned among private clients and leading design professionals.
Mick Unwin
PartnerMick has spent more than 25 years turning complex developments into finished, occupied buildings across North America and Australia. His work covers both the private and public sectors — commercial development, luxury residential, high-end retail, hospitality, education, aviation, and senior living — and he brings direct oversight to every phase of a project, from initial underwriting, acquisition, rezoning, and permitting through design, team management, and construction. Before partnering with Alan Caren, Mick co-founded several national project management firms. Beyond his owner's representative services, he holds partnership interests in both multi-family and hospitality developments.
